This article describes how to create Device Group.

Device Group binds the devices with Templates.

Step 1:

After Logging in to the Versa Director GUI

Navigate to Configuration> Select the Tenant on left > Devices> Device Groups> Click on Add (+) Button.

Step 2:

Enter the Device Group Name, Select the Organization Name, Select the Post Staging Template.

Following is optional:

> If you want to use URL ZTP then click on checkbox and enter the Email ID you wish to receive the URL ZTP activation link.

> You can also associate Device Group specific Service Template by clicking on "Device Service Template Association" icon on Post Staging Template Association.

> Devices will show how many devices are associated with this template. Only to be seen when you are editing an existing template.

Click on OK to finish creating device group.
