What is the frequency of Security Package Upgrade (SPACK)?  

Security Package (SPACK) gets updated daily by Versa SPACK Server.

What does Security Package (SPACK) contain?

SPACK contains updated  Antivirus Database, IPS/IDS Signatures, GeoIP Database, URL Category/Reputation database, and IP Reputation database .

Question 3

What does Real Time Update (RTU) contain?

RTU contains latest updates of databases in SPACK, after SPACK gets published.

Everyday Versa SPACK Server releases Security Package(SPACK) containing  Antivirus Database, IPS/IDS Signatures, GeoIP Database, URL Category/Reputation database, and IP Reputation database.
If there is any latest update released in any of the databases after SPACK is published, then it will be published as RTU on top of installed SPACK.
Next day when a new SPACK is released, it will have all the updates with RTUs released for previous SPACK.

How frequently Versa SPACK Server check for new updates?

Versa SPACK Server checks every five minutes, with Vendor servers, for latest updates.

How frequently Versa FlexVNF checks for new Updates?

By Default, every 5 min Versa FlexVNF checks for new Real Time Update (RTU) with Versa SPACK Server. And every 15 minutes Versa FlexVNF checks for new Security Package Updated (SPACK) with Versa SPACK Server .

Question 6

Can phishing and anomizer attacks be triggered via IDS/IPS signature feeds?

IP Reputation database and URL Reputation database are used for blocking Phishing and Anonymizers.
