  1. 1. Require a Hardware Download Cable connected between on-board pin header JPLD1 and PC laptop USB

  1. 2. Download Altera Software Program tool

  1. 3. Execute Altera Software program tool on PC laptop

  1. 4. Select USB-Blaster from Hardware Setup

  1. 5. Select Firmware Programming file (e.g. VS2511A_Rxx.pof)

  1. 6. Select checkboxes under Program/Configure and click start

  1. 7. Programming successful

8. Remove cables and Power cycle the system (by plugging out and in the power cord)



9. Boot to the VOS and check the CPLD version using "cpld_version.dat" utility as shown below.
