Starting with the August 2025 hotfix release of 22.1.4, Organizations managing the Director must set the SMTP configuration for email notifications to be received. 


The default Versa SMTP account previously used for sending emails has been removed. Users will now see an alert on the landing page if no SMTP account is configured.


To restore email functionality, please add an SMTP configuration under: Administration → Notification Configuration → SMTP → System
