Customer may report that one of their Director in their HA failed completely for whatsoever reason and they wanted to replace the box fully, either the Active or the Standby.

Common idea is to get the configuration/DB from the failed director and try to restore it on a new Director [ may be as Standby] and think the HA would work.

In such scenario:

1) Let the new Director node have same version of Versa OS as par with the one running presently.

2) Just enable HA from/between presently Primary director node ( Actual standby) and this new Node, this will bring up the copy of all the DB it has with the new director node and make it read-only/passive.

3) Test fail-over back and forth and make the one you wish to keep it as Active.
